Job summary

E-Space is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day equipment maintenance operations in a thin-film PV manufacturing environment, based out of Arlington, TX. This hands-on role focuses on executing PMs and troubleshooting across production tools such as vacuum systems, robotics, and process equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in semiconductor or cleanroom maintenance, with 3+ years’ experience and the ability to read manuals and schematics,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical technology preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably semiconductor, electronics, or cleanroom.
• Experience performing PMs and troubleshooting on production equipment including vacuum systems, robotics, conveyors, and process tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order management and maintenance tracking.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance SOPs, equipment manuals, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom or controlled-environment setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on sputter systems, laser trim equipment, photolithography tools, wet etch, electrical plating tools, and assembly packaging equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Operate and maintain robotics, conveyors, industrial ovens, cryogenic components, vacuum hoses, bearings, and chain drives in a cleanroom environment.
• Log all maintenance activities in the system including work orders, asset tracking, and maintenance history.
• Support equipment calibration and process stabilization to improve production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Follow all lockout/tagout, EHS, and cleanroom protocols during maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Engineer / Manager on scheduling and prioritizing maintenance activities.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and line expansion projects as needed.
