Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a dependable Foundry Operator for our 4th shift in Mentor, Ohio. The role offers hands-on training, competitive pay, and the chance to work with vacuum casting equipment in a safety‑driven production setting.

You will handle furnace operations, data recording, and setup/changeovers while adhering to SOPs and quality standards. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or foundry experience preferred.
• Experience with high-temperature processes is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum furnaces (Equiax, D.S., and Single Crystal) and record data accurately.
• Assist with furnace setup, changeovers, susceptors, coils and melt coils.
• Follow SOPs and specifications; meet production and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and complete documentation on time.
• Develop understanding of foundry processes and materials.
• Organize work to support efficient production flow.
