Job summary

Precision Castparts in Mentor, OH is seeking dependable Foundry Operators for 4th shift. This hands‑on role offers training, competitive pay based on experience, and a safety‑focused environment.

You will operate vacuum furnaces and support DS and single crystal processes, record data, and help with setup and changeovers while maintaining quality and productivity. Benefits include full‑time hours, paid time off, and a stable manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or foundry experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial equipment or high-temperature processes is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum furnaces, including Equiax, DS, and Single Crystal furnaces.
• Record all required production and process data accurately.
• Assist with furnace setup and changeovers (DS susceptors, coils, melt coils).
• Follow SOPs and engineering specs and special lot instructions.
• Meet established production and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Develop understanding of foundry processes and materials.
• Organize work to support efficient production flow.
