Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a Foundry Operator for the 5th shift. You will support vacuum casting operations, operate furnaces such as Equiax and D.S., and ensure accurate production data while following SOPs in a safety‑focused environment.

This full‑time role offers hands‑on training, competitive pay based on experience, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and a rotating schedule of 7 days every 2 weeks with 42 hours on average.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or foundry experience preferred.
• Experience with high-temperature processes is a plus.
• Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum furnaces, including Equiax, DS, and single crystal furnaces.
• Record production and process data accurately.
• Assist with furnace setup and changeovers, including susceptors, coils, and melt coils.
• Follow SOPs, specifications, and lot instructions.
• Meet production and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Develop understanding of foundry processes and materials.
