Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking Physician Assistants to conduct Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans applying for disability benefits with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role includes reviewing records, performing focused exams, and potentially rendering medical opinions.

Charting from home may be required and adherence to VA guidelines is essential. Required is an active PA license in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold a valid unrestricted PA license in the US.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Basic Life Support certification required; familiarity with VA MDE program advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans and assess functional impact.
• Review medical records and diagnostic results to form evidence-based opinions.
• Document findings in VA-compliant reports and coordinate with QA teams.
• Travel up to 10% to support other clinics and maintain scheduling accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable laws.
