Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks a Physician Assistant to perform Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans applying for VA disability benefits. You will review claims, conduct focused assessments, and prepare medical opinions in line with VA guidelines.

The role may involve charting from home, requires an active PA license, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Travel up to 10% to support clinics is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Education and Licensing: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with an active PA license in the United States.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and must be maintained.
• Strong clinical and analytical skills with the ability to produce objective medical opinions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans, including history review and focused physicals.
• Review medical records and diagnostic results to assess impact of disabilities on daily function.
• Render objective medical opinions in reports following VA guidelines and VA formats.
