Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to perform Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans applying for VA disability benefits. You will review medical records, conduct focused exams, and render objective opinions based on VA guidelines.

Charting from home may be required, with up to 10% travel to other Loyal Source clinics. Qualified candidates hold an active PA license in the United States, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and BLS

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program and holds an unrestricted PA license in the US.
Minimum of 1 year experience conducting medical disability examinations or related field.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, including renewals.
Military familiarity preferred; specialized training in Medical Disability Evaluations is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication, ethics, and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations for Veterans, including history review and physical examination.
Review medical records and diagnostic tests to assess impact of disabilities on daily life.
Render objective medical opinions consistent with VA guidelines and contract terms.
Document findings clearly in reports and coordinate with QA team for accuracy.
Travel up to 10% to support other Loyal Source clinics as needed.
