Job summary

Aldevra in Waco, TX is seeking a Project Manager - Construction to support VA contracts. This exempt, full-time role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex schedules and budgets across inpatient facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in a related field or 10 years PM experience, OSHA 30, and proven ability to coordinate with VISN, health system, architects, and contractors.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; or 10 years PM experience
• Experience with federal construction, VA projects or healthcare facilities is valuable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with VISN, Health Care System, architects and contractors
• Represent the VA in a professional manner and advise on work performed
• Control schedule and budget to achieve best value
• Proactively resolve issues and minimize delays and claims
• Mitigate circumstances to avoid disputes and keep Government advised
• Ensure work conforms to codes, standards and contract plans
• Engage stakeholders to deconflict standards and reach consensus
• Review and adjust schedules, prioritize critical path items
• Facilitate and document all project meetings
• Manage project documentation and correspondence
• Deliver PM plan, communication plan, schedule management, QA plan and risk plan
• Perform other duties as assigned
