Job summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) seeks an experienced Construction Manager to support the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Doris Miller Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Waco, Texas. You will manage submittals, monitor schedules and field activities, conduct inspections, and ensure work complies with contract requirements and quality standards.

The role requires strong hospital construction background, adherence to applicable standards, and collaboration with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive construction field experience.
• 5+ years in field construction activities and QA on large projects.
• Experience on hospital/healthcare facilities.
• Knowledge of codes, schedules, and project documentation.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to obtain NACI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage submittals per specs, codes.
• Track long-lead materials and monitor schedules.
• Attend progress meetings and action items.
• Maintain as-built drawings and project records.
• Perform field inspections and report non-conforming work.
• Support commissioning and construction administration (RFIs, logs, COs).
• Provide risk assessments and cost/time impact analyses when needed.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, VA standards.
