Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Doris Miller Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Waco, Texas. You will manage project activities, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure construction progresses in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible construction project management experience.
• Credentials such as PMP, CCM, PE or RA are highly desirable.
• Minimum of seven (7) years managing construction or renovation projects, preferably healthcare or regulated environments.
• Experience in schedule management, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project activities related to the VA design and construction delivery process with stakeholders, designers, contractors, and facility personnel.
• Monitor project budgets, financial data, cost accounting, and construction contract change orders to stay within budget.
• Review and update project schedules, identify delays, and recommend actions to maintain progress.
• Lead or support progress meetings, document status, and follow up on Government action items.
• Coordinate issue resolution by evaluating impacts, reviewing proposed changes, and advising the COR.
• Track testing, inspections, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance.
• Oversee construction administration: RFIs, change orders, documentation, closeout submittals, as-built records.
• Support claims analysis and dispute resolution with reports, cost estimates, and time impact analyses.
