Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a qualified NP or PA to conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations in accordance with VA guidelines. You will review medical histories, perform comprehensive physicals, and complete DBQs with accuracy and timeliness.

• Active NP or PA license required.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician required where state law dictates.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation prior to each evaluation.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
