Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension audiology evaluations. This non-treatment, evaluation-focused role uses structured testing and VA formats to support disability determinations.

The position offers flexible scheduling as a 1099 contractor with opportunities for in-person evaluations and a focus on objective, unbiased reporting for Veterans.

Qualifications

Active licensure as Audiologist in good standing.
Demonstrated ability to follow VA C&P evaluation protocols.
Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
Ability to conduct structured, objective evaluations.
Commitment to ethical, confidential, unbiased assessments.

Responsibilities

Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
Perform structured hearing and tinnitus assessments per VA guidelines.
Utilize DBQs and standardized testing protocols.
Gather history via focused interviews and document findings.
Prepare clear VA-format reports in a timely manner.
Maintain separation between evaluation and treatment.
