Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking an experienced Audiologist to perform VA Compensation & Pension evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on structured testing, data gathering, and documentation for disability determinations.

The ideal candidate is licensed as an audiologist, with a Doctor of Audiology or equivalent and strong report-writing skills. Flexible scheduling and in-person opportunities are available for veteran-focused evaluations.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license required.
• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D).
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Comfortable following structured evaluation protocols.
• Ability to conduct objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Use DBQs and standardized testing protocols.
• Gather history via focused interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and VO documentation as required.
• Prepare clear VA-formatted reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain objectivity and boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
