As a UX Researcher V, you will be part of the Risk Analytics & Research department supporting Product Risk & Compliance initiatives. What's the Job?
- Scope and execute mixed-methods research studies on user understanding and responses to risk, safety, and compliance-related product experiences.
- Design comprehensive research plans, including participant recruitment, data collection, analysis, and sharing insights with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, including survey analysis, statistical techniques, and triangulation with qualitative signals and product logs.
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product and policy teams, fostering informed decision-making.
- Maintain detailed research documentation and facilitate seamless handoffs to ensure continuity during team transitions.
What's Needed?
- BA/BS in human behavior-related fields such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics.
- Proven experience designing and executing mixed-methods research, with the ability to adapt methods as needed.
- Strong quantitative skills, including survey design, data analysis, and familiarity with statistical tools like R, Python, or SPSS.
- Deep qualitative expertise, capable of leading varied qualitative methods and evaluating assumptions and biases.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in dynamic, ambiguity-heavy environments, with a focus on ethical research practices and participant privacy.
