Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking a Designer for the UX Design Lab (Packaging Design) in Clark, NJ. You will shape the future of packaging with consumer-centric, sustainable design, leading design thinking sessions and collaborating with engineers, product developers, and suppliers.

You bring 3–5 years in product design, strong 3D modeling (Rhino/SolidWorks) and rendering (KeyShot), plus a Bachelor’s in industrial/product design. Onsite work at NY/NJ sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/product design or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in product design, cosmetics or consumer goods.
• Knowledge of consumer insights, make-up/skincare trends, and packaging concepts.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering tools; familiarity with design for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Shape packaging design across consumer-focused projects and labs.
• Lead design thinking workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop prototypes and coordinate with engineers and suppliers.
• Ensure designs are sustainable, aesthetically compelling, and manufacturable.
