Job summary

L'Oréal Operations in Clark, New Jersey, is seeking an Associate Principal Engineer to validate packaging for new launches, formula renovations, and packaging changes. This role involves defining test plans, reviewing specifications, and ensuring quality across supplier interactions.

Qualifications

Education: A completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant scientific field (Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science) is required.
5-7+ years of hands-on packaging engineering and qualification experience.
Experience in cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Validate packaging for new launches, formula renovations, and packaging changes.
Define test plans and review pre-specifications and TRs in GECO.
Communicate results and propose solutions to stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional projects to improve lab efficiency, safety, quality, or agility.
Mentor newcomers and partners; support training.
