Job summary

Spatial Front Inc. is seeking a UX Designer/Researcher to conduct hands-on user research and design improvements for PeopleSoft HCM and related enterprise applications.

You will observe user work patterns, identify usability issues, and design practical enhancements across Fluid UI homepages, navigation, and end-to-end workflows. The role requires strong research and interaction design skills, familiarity with PeopleSoft Fluid UI, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on UX design or user research for enterprise applications.
• U.S. Citizenship with active Secret clearance.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Fluid UI.
• Experience conducting interviews, observation, usability testing, task analysis.
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user research via interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, surveys, and task analysis to understand user needs and pain points.
• Translate research into personas, journey maps, task flows, usability findings, and prioritized design opportunities.
• Design and improve PeopleSoft HCM experiences using Fluid UI concepts, including homepages, tiles, navigation, workflows, and dashboards.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, interaction specs, and other design artifacts to communicate proposed experiences clearly.
• Collaborate with PeopleSoft developers, analysts, product owners, testers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure feasible designs.
• Evaluate existing PeopleSoft pages and workflows for usability and accessibility; propose improvements to reduce effort and errors.
