Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a User Experience Designer to craft digital experiences for Ford vehicle owners. You will work with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Analytics, and Design partners to translate customer needs into intuitive journeys and polished interfaces.

You will contribute across the design process—from exploring problems and developing concepts to prototyping, validation, delivery, and post-launch improvements, while ensuring accessibility and brand consistency using Ford’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX, interaction design, product design, HCI, visual design, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of UX/digital design experience with portfolio.
• Experience using Figma for design and prototyping.
• Knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility.
• Ability to communicate design ideas across disciplines.
• Iterative feedback and evolving requirements mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine Ford.com experiences for Owners to find information, understand features, access services, and stay connected.
• Translate problems into user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Explore design options, communicate trade-offs, and incorporate cross-functional feedback.
• Create prototypes to test assumptions and guide decisions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to balance value, goals, accessibility, and feasibility.
• Contribute to Ford’s design system for consistent patterns across Ford.com.
• Support design delivery and clarify implementation details with engineers.
