Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a Coater Operator to ensure scheduled orders meet specifications in a safe, quality-focused team setting. You will perform quality checks, manage data sheets and assist with die changes, while maintaining clean work areas and inventory for production runs.

You should have a high level of manual dexterity, the ability to read gauges, follow detailed instructions, and work effectively in a team to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High degree of manual dexterity and ability to read length measurements, gauges and meters.
• Ability to work as a team member and follow work instructions with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of production schedules and data entry.
• May be required to obtain a tow-motor license.

Responsibilities

• Utilize logbooks for issues that occur on shift.
• Indirectly responsible for the safety of the crewmembers.
• Perform quality and standard checks.
• Participate in die changes as scheduled.
• Complete appropriate data sheets as required.
• Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
