Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC seeks a dependable Coater Operator to ensure scheduled orders are completed safely and on spec. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and efficiency on the production line.

This role requires capable reading of gauges, math and data entry, and a strong commitment to safety. You’ll participate in continuous improvement and keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High degree of manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to read length measurements, gauges and meters with accuracy.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with data entry in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow work instructions, safety rules, and specifications with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize logbooks for issues that occur on shift.
• Indirectly responsible for the safety of the crewmembers.
• Perform quality and standard checks.
• Participate in die changes as scheduled.
• Complete data sheets as required.
• Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-reduction ideas.
