Job summary

VanCuren Services, a Davey company, is seeking a skilled utility line clearance climber for on-site work in Cleveland, OH. You will climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems to assist major electric utilities and perform pruning and removal as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license; CDL is preferred. You will operate chainsaws, lifts, and gear safely, with opportunities for career advancement and industry training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required; CDL preferred depending on job.
• Experience with electric utility tree trimming/climbing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for utility clients.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines and structures.
• Maintain tools and operate equipment safely; work with ground crew.
