Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Utility Technician to be based at our Phoenix, AZ service center. You will load/unload equipment, verify counts, and maintain inventory accuracy while upholding safety at all times.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–3 years in a yard/warehouse, and strong customer service. Overtime, travel, and on-call work may be required; lifting up to 75 lbs is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Based in Phoenix, AZ service center.

What you’ll do:
  • You’ll be based out of our Phoenix, AZ. service center.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials with large and small forklifts.
  • Prepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to delivery and arrival Clean and put away rental equipment upon return to service center
  • Keep the jobsite, yard, and warehouse cleaned and up to safety standards
  • Drive inventory accuracy of rental equipment and accessories Inventory cycle counts
  • Wash rental equipment
  • Inspect and repair cable
You are:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Embraces and promotes safety culture
  • Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
  • Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance

Other essential job requirements
  • Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts
  • Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
  • Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level
  • Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders
  • Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
