Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Industrial Client Service Leader to drive growth with electric utility clients across the United States. You will identify opportunities, win projects, and expand key accounts while leading business development and client service management for a dynamic Industrial team.

You will travel 20–40% and collaborate with senior project managers and specialists to deliver high-quality projects across T&D, substations, and civil works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• At least 12 years of related experience in the utility sector.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development, client engagement and strategic marketing for major utility clients in the U.S.
• Develop and maintain high-value client relationships and ensure service excellence.
• Grow market share by partnering with senior project managers and technical specialists.
• Collaborate with the technology group to leverage leading-edge tools for project delivery.
• Implement short- and long-term strategies contributing to growth and profitability.
