Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. seeks an experienced Utility-Scale Field Quality Control Representative to support QA/QC on utility-scale power, renewable energy, and transmission projects across the United States.

This field-based role ensures construction aligns with project specifications, company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations while promoting quality and continuous improvement. Working with superintendents, project managers, and field teams, you will perform inspections,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality control, quality assurance, inspection, or field construction experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, or utility-scale projects.
• Experience reading and interpreting project plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO standards and testing coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate material and field testing, and third-party inspections.
• Document inspection results, deficiencies, corrective actions, and quality records.
