Job summary

STV is seeking a Utility Coordinator in Winston-Salem, NC to oversee utility coordination and relocations for NCDOT and municipal projects. The role includes managing resources to identify conflicts and coordinate relocations prior to construction.

You will work with NCDOT and utility owners, prepare meeting agendas/minutes, and QA/QC relocation packages using MicroStation/OpenRoads. Overnight travel may be required with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 1–3 years experience in MicroStation v8i and/or OpenRoads Designer.
• Knowledge of ProjectWise software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop utility relocations strategies and provide coordination/relocation services.
• Interpret highway construction plans to identify utility impacts.
• Adhere to FHWA, NCDOT and related regulations and standards.
• Coordinate meetings with NCDOT, utility owners, and contractors; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Prepare and QA/QC utility relocation packages and UBO plans in MicroStation/OpenRoads.
• Attend field meetings and site investigations as required.
• Utilize MS Office suite for documentation and reporting.
• Travel occasionally for site work.
