Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Utility Coordinator in Winston-Salem, NC to oversee utility coordination and relocations for NCDOT and municipal projects. You will manage resources to identify conflicts and oversee relocations prior to construction.

Responsibilities include developing relocation strategies, interpreting plans, coordinating with agencies, and performing QA/QC on relocation packages. Occasional travel may be required. The position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related experience required.
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record required.
• 1-3 years experience in MicroStation v8i and/or OpenRoads Designer software.
• Knowledge of ProjectWise software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop utility relocations strategies and provide coordination/relocation services to accomplish removal, relocation, and modification of utility facilities.
• Interpret highway construction plans, drainage summaries, specifications to identify utility impacts.
• Coordinate with NCDOT and utility owners to schedule meetings and prepare agendas/minutes.
• Prepare and QA/QC utility relocation packages and plans.
• Prepare Environmental Permit drawings and narratives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
