Job summary

STV is seeking a Utility Coordinator in Charlotte, NC to oversee utility coordination and relocations for NCDOT and municipal projects. The role involves managing resources to identify conflicts and coordinate relocations prior to construction.

You will maintain client relationships, contribute to service expansion, mentor junior staff, and support a healthy work-life balance within STV's culture.

Qualifications

• Must have interpretation skills for highway construction plans
• Excellent organizational capabilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

• Develop utility relocations strategies and provide coordination/relocation services for removal, relocation, and modification of utility facilities.
• Interpret highway construction plans and regulatory documents to identify utility impacts.
• Coordinate meetings with NCDOT, utility owners and contractors; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Prepare and QA/QC utility relocation packages and schedules.
• Prepare Environmental Permit drawings and narratives.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
