Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a qualified professional to develop and coordinate utility relocation strategies for highway projects in North Carolina. The role requires interpreting construction plans and regulatory requirements, coordinating with NCDOT, utility owners, and contractors, and preparing accurate relocation packages using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

The candidate will participate in field meetings, manage multiple tasks, and ensure QA/QC of submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in utility relocations or related design coordination.
• Knowledge of highway/utility coordination practices and NC/NCDOT regulations is preferred.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer software.
• Familiarity with ProjectWise collaboration tooling.
• A valid state driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop utility relocations strategies and coordinate services for removal, relocation, and modification of utility facilities.
• Interpret highway construction plans and regulations to identify utility impacts.
• Coordinate meetings with NCDOT, utility owners, and contractors; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Prepare and QA/QC utility relocation packages and drawings in MicroStation/OpenRoads.
• Attend field meetings and site investigations as required.
• Communicate technical information clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
