Job summary

Utilitra is recruiting a Utility Project Manager to lead utility-scale construction projects through the full lifecycle. The role reports to the Project Management Manager and operates within normal hours, with travel up to 10% as needed.

The successful candidate will manage projects ranging from $100k to multi-million dollars, implement execution plans, monitor performance, and maintain client relations. A PMP and a Bachelor’s in engineering or construction management are required, with 5+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management required.
• PMP or other project management certification required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities required.
• Knowledge of utility design/construction preferred.
• Proficiency with project planning, cost management, procurement practices and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of safety and ensure project delivers meet client needs.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation to closeout with budgets from $100k to >$7MM.
• Develop execution plans and obtain project authorization from client leadership up to board level.
• Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular client updates.
• Lead a team of stakeholders and coordinate support organizations to drive results.
• Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures and manage scope, costs, and schedules.
• Provide guidance on project conceptualization, objectives, schedules, budgets and procurement.
