Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager to lead utility infrastructure projects in a high-growth division. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with subcontractors and clients to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in utility or infrastructure project management, knowledge of underground utilities, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–10+ years of project management experience in utility, civil, or infrastructure construction.
• Experience managing underground utilities, power distribution, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
• Experience working with public agencies, utilities, or infrastructure owners is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, procurement, and execution to meet goals.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain relationships with utility providers, municipalities, and stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, progress reporting, and documentation management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control.
• Manage change orders, risk mitigation, and closeout activities.
