Location: Irwindale, CA - Hybrid (Wed/Thu onsite)

Schedule: M-F, 8-5 (Pacific Time)

Duration: 16-month contract (W2)

Pay Rate: $44.00-48.00/hr

Position Summary

Our client, a utility company, has launched its Flexible Pricing Rate pilot program and is now enrolling customers. This role is needed to perform eligibility checks for potential customers, and to monitor and compensate third parties for their performance in recruiting customers. This position will play a key role in managing customer enrollment and payment operations for our client's Flexible Pricing Rate Pilot, as well as conducting additional reporting. The role is responsible for receiving and validating enrollment forms from account managers, submitting eligible customers to a third-party supplier for enrollment, and confirming enrollment status back to stakeholders. This position will also serve as the subject matter expert for the pilot's automated enrollment and billing platform — pulling data from the platform, ensuring its accuracy, and working with the third-party platform provider to report bugs/errors, make enhancements, and maintain the system. Additional responsibilities include overseeing manual enrollment processes for Automation Service Providers, maintaining detailed metrics on enrollment activity, and tracking billing status, as well as managing manual customer payments and facilitating payments to contractors and other third parties.

Education/Experience

• BA/BS Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline
• Four or more years of experience with business analysis

Knowledge/Skills

• Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, Access, or other similar tools for tracking and reporting
• Ability to understand and conduct payment processing and reconciliation
• Ability to follow and improve upon business processes
• Strong attention to detail to validate information on forms is correct
• Experience with manual data entry
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume tasks during ramp-up periods
• Experience with customer programs and billing in a utility or similarly regulated environment
• Familiarity with SAP billing and/or payment systems
• Experience using advanced analytical tools such as SAS, Power BI, or other similar tools
• Experience working with budgets
• Experience creating and using pivot tables, charts, and graphs, and the ability to work with larger datasets (e.g., data for several hundred thousand accounts)
• Proficiency identifying trends in complex data and arriving at solutions rooted in information
