B&S Site Development is hiring a Utility Pipe Layer to assess ground conditions, dig trenches, assemble and lay pipes, and maintain piping systems in alignment with project requirements. The role emphasizes physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work with the construction crew to keep progress on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of construction experience, a GED/HS diploma or equivalent, and the stamina to lift up to 50 pounds.

Formación

• 1-2 years of construction experience.
• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Trade school is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Measuring and configuring pipe routes.
• Gathering material and installation tools.
• Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools.
• Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators.
• Removing old or broken piping systems.
• Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers.
• Checking pipe alignment and sealing pipes with cement glue.
• Installing auxiliary lines.
• Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings.
• Filling and sealing pipe trenches.
