Job summary

B&S Site Development in Manassas, VA, is seeking a Utility Pipe Layer to assess ground conditions, dig trenches, assemble and lay pipes in accordance with city ordinances. You may also remove old piping, seal joins, and install auxiliary lines while keeping pace with the construction crew.

• 1–2 years of construction experience required.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Measure and configure pipe routes.
• Gather materials and install tools.
• Dig trenches with hand and machine tools.
• Locate installed piping systems.
• Remove old piping systems as needed.
• Lay pipes into trenches and seal joints.
