B&S Site Development in the United States is seeking a Utility Pipe Layer to assess ground conditions, dig trenches, assemble and lay pipes, and maintain alignment and safety on site. The role emphasizes physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy materials while supporting a fast-paced civil construction team.

Responsibilities include measuring routes, gathering tools, excavating trenches, and installing pipes and auxiliary lines with attention to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction experience required.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Trade school a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Measuring and configuring pipe routes.
• Gathering material and installation tools.
• Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools.
• Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators.
• Removing old or broken piping systems.
• Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers.
• Checking pipe alignment and sealing pipes with cement glue.
• Installing auxiliary lines.
• Sealing exposed pipe joints and fittings.
• Filling and sealing pipe trenches.
