Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator to work in a fast-paced construction setting. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of loaders and other equipment, routine maintenance, and monitoring utility systems for efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and some experience with utility systems, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read manuals and schematics while following strict safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating utility systems is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are needed.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
