Job summary

Quality Talent Group's client is seeking a Utility Operator to support fast-paced production and field infrastructure projects across North America. The role involves operating loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, performing groundwork, and maintaining site safety and cleanliness.

You will monitor utility systems, troubleshoot equipment, and perform routine maintenance while following health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
