Job summary

The City of Medina is seeking a Utility Maintenance Technician to join the Public Works team and support the operation and maintenance of the City's water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems.

The ideal candidate will hold Class D Water License and Class SD Wastewater license, with the ability to obtain Class C Water License and Class SC Wastewater licenses within two years of hire, and will perform skilled and semi-skilled utility maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Utility

Qualifications

• Must hold Class D Water License and Class SD Wastewater license.
• Ability to obtain Class C Water License and Class SC Wastewater licenses within two years.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of City’s water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems.
• Work under the direction of the Utility Supervisor performing skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to Public Works operations as needed.
