RECONN is seeking a Utility Inspection Technician to check gas meters for leaks and corrosion, ensuring all paperwork is completed. This daytime, full-time role may require weekends and overtime, with instructor-led training provided.

You will report to your work area on time and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Proficiency with basic technology, strong communication, and the ability to read utility maps are essential, along with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

This includes visual inspection and ensuring all required paperwork/data are completed. Meter Inspection Technicians will be required to report to their respective work area on time at the start of each shift. While on-site, the technician will be responsible for identifying any abnormal operating conditions along with accurately filling out all forms associated with the inspection visit (the form may be electronic or paper).We are currently hiring throughout Beaver, PA.These are daytime, full-time positions and overtime may be required. Instructor-led training will be provided. Previous outdoor experience is a plusAvailable to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as neededAble to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.Proficiency with technologyAble to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
