Job summary

USIC is seeking an Utility Inspection Technician in Beaver, PA to inspect gas meters for leaks and corrosion, with on-site documentation. You will report on time, complete required forms, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Overtime and weekend work may be required; full training is provided.

You will use technology to log inspections, drive company vehicles, and support public safety while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This includes visual inspection and ensuring all required paperwork/data are completed. Meter Inspection Technicians will be required to report to their respective work area on time at the start of each shift. While on-site, the technician will be responsible for identifying any abnormal operating conditions along with accurately filling out all forms associated with the inspection visit (the form may be electronic or paper).We are currently hiring throughout Beaver, PA.These are daytime, full-time positions and overtime may be required. Instructor-led training will be provided. Previous outdoor experience is a plus* Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed* Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.* Proficiency with technology* Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
