Eocene Environmental Group is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to work closely with utility clients, property owners, and contractors. The role involves ensuring safe and sustainable vegetation management practices while conducting tree inventories and inspections.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field and/or experience in utility line clearance.
• Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months upon job offer.
• Proficient in map navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners & public agencies regarding pruning and/or removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Conduct hazard tree inspections and evaluations.

Invasive species knowledge

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Organization and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Degree in forestry or related field

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Data collection software (GIS experience a plus)
