Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to work outdoors with utility clients, property owners, and contractors to ensure safe, sustainable vegetation management across diverse landscapes.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field; experience in utility line clearance.
• ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months of offer.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and data collection software; GIS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and agencies regarding pruning and removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories and hazard evaluations.
• Plan work for contractors and coordinate field data.
• Gather data on species, size, and distance from conductors.
• Ensure data accuracy across databases and reporting.
• Safeguard workers and enforce safety practices on site.
