Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to protect communities and power lines while working outdoors with utility clients, property owners and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or a related field; utility line clearance experience preferred.
• ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months of job offer.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and adverse weather.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and agencies regarding pruning/removals
• Conduct tree inventories and assess hazard trees
• Plan work for contractors and ensure safety on site
• Gather field data on species, size, and distances from conductors
• Validate data across databases and ensure accurate reporting
• Support service trucks and equipment maintenance at sites
• Travel to project sites as needed
