As the Utility Custodian, you will perform daily custodial duties in secure spaces, follow strict security protocols, report hazards, and support continuity-of-operations while maintaining professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in the industry is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily custodial services in offices, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas in a secure facility.
• Handle waste disposal, recycling, and shredding per IC security and information protection procedures.
• Safely operate custodial equipment and use approved cleaning agents following safety standards.
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled cleaning requests, including spill response and event support.
• Maintain custodial supply inventory and report shortages or issues.
• Follow access control, badge, escort, and compartmentalization requirements at all times.
• Immediately report security concerns, safety hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Support emergency procedures and continuity-of-operations activities as directed.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion around sensitive personnel, materials, and spaces.

As the Utility Custodian, you're essential to daily operations and requires professionalism, discretion, and strict adherence to security protocols. The Utility Custodian performs routine and specialized custodial duties in sensitive spaces while complying with all safety, security, and confidentiality requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform daily custodial services including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining offices, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, and common areas within a secure facility
• Handle waste disposal, recycling, and shredding in accordance with IC security and information protection procedures
• Safely operate custodial equipment and use approved cleaning agents in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled cleaning requests, including spill response and special event support
