Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project management across safety, planning, scheduling, cost reporting, and budgeting. The role requires coordination with on-site crews and adherence to project schedules.

You will gather information, maintain logs and submittals, and assist in preparing safety and environmental plans. Strong communication and scheduling experience will help ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS/BA in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Experience reading and interpreting mechanical design drawings and specifications is preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and Access is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project engineering activities comply with contract requirements.
• Identify and report project status and issues to the PM in a timely manner.
• Maintain project record drawings, including drawing log, As-Builts, and updated drawings.
• Provide technical support for construction planning and scheduling.
• Travel to projects on a regular basis.
