Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in safety, planning, scheduling, cost reporting, budgeting, and customer communications.

Travel to project sites will be required; you will help with proposals, change orders, and monthly forecasts. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in an industrial construction environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 1-4 years of Project Management/Construction Management experience in industrial construction.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of project cost reporting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Track key performance and financial metrics to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Support proposals and estimates preparation, including drawing take-offs.
• Coordinate project setup with safety, scheduling, document control, cost codes and billing.
• Assist in hand-off from estimating to field supervision and management.
