Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer II to provide outside plant (OSP) installation support on various sized utility construction project sites. The role requires safety discipline, a strong work ethic, and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

The successful candidate will operate equipment such as directional drills, mini excavators, hydro trucks, or bucket trucks under supervision, read construction prints, and assist with site setup, traffic control, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience with Drill, Hydro, Mini, or Bucket Truck.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive a company vehicle strongly preferred.
• Class A CDL License strongly preferred.
• Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications strongly preferred (ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor in all weather conditions, including hand digging, installing utilities, moving material, inspecting ground conditions, and traffic control.
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks; load/unload trucks, take photos, set up cones and signs, prep equipment.
• Independently operates heavy equipment (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with limited guidance.
• Meets production expectations set by Foreman or management.
• Participates in safety training and follows safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Reads prints and construction drawings; locates utilities under supervision.
