Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer II to provide outside plant (OSP) installation support on various utility construction sites nationwide. The role requires operating equipment such as drill, hydro, mini excavator and bucket truck with strong safety focus and ALL IN attitude.

Requirements include 1+ year utility construction experience, 6+ months equipment operation, a valid driver’s license, OSHA 10 and Competent Person preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience on drills, hydro or bucket trucks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; Class A CDL preferred.
• OSHA 10 and Competent Person certifications preferred (within 6 months).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor in all weather; dig, install utilities, move materials, inspect ground conditions, and control traffic.
• Assist crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks such as loading/unloading, photos, cones, and equipment prep.
• Independently operate heavy equipment (drill, mini-excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with guidance.
• Meet production expectations and support Foreman and management as needed.
• Participate in training with experienced operators; learn safety practices and equipment operation.
• Read prints and construction drawings; locate utilities under supervision.
• Perform 811 locate process basics and determine actions per ADB policies.
• Maintain daily production reports and redlines; contribute to safety program.
• Promote safety culture; lead by example and participate in pre-task checks.
• Provide training and support to entry-level laborers; ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.
