Brunswick County is seeking a Billing Technician to join our Utility Billing Team. The incumbent will prepare water and sewer utility bills, maintain customer accounts, verify and post payments, and address questions about meters and billing.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in accounting, business management, or related field and 1–2 years of customer service and billing experience. Reports to the Billing Supervisor and works on site in Bolivia, NC.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and billing.
• Ability to verify and post payments to customer accounts for Public Utilities.
• Ability to create and review work orders for meter installations and changes.
