Qualifications

• High school graduation and experience in customer service and computer use, preferably in a public utility or collections function.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with utility accounts and questions by phone or in person.
• Receive payments and issue receipts; balance cash drawers and prepare deposits.
• Process new service applications and set up new accounts.
• Prepare and distribute work orders for meter-related activities and disconnects.
• Explain rules and charges for utilities and water services.
• Work with GIS to locate meters and assist meter readers.
