Job summary

MTM Transit in Scottsdale is seeking a Utility to wash, fuel, and service fleet vehicles, perform daily facility maintenance, and assist in fleet operations in various weather conditions outdoors. The role supports the Scottsdale Trolley service.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour. CDL required (Arizona Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement). Candidates must pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screen, and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 3 years.
• Must hold and maintain a valid Arizona CDL Class A or B.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 5 years; no DUI/DWI history.

Responsibilities

• Wash, fuel and service vehicles as directed.
• Clean buildings and grounds as directed.
• Perform daily facility maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in daily fleet maintenance operations.
• Prepare daily Utility Fleet Reports.

What will your job look like?

The Utility will be responsible for washing, fueling and minor servicing of fleet vehicles, perform facility maintenance and repairs as needed, assist in fleet maintenance daily operations and able to work in various weather elements outdoors.

Service: Scottsdale Trolley

Starting Pay Rate : $21.50

Location: 9191 E San Salvador Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85258

CDL Requirement : valid Arizona Driver Class A or B CDL with a Passenger Endorsement (PE)

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)

• Wash, Fuel and Service vehicles
• Cleans buildings and grounds as directed
• Perform daily Facility maintenance and repairs
• Assists in daily Fleet Maintenance operations as directed
• Prepare daily Utility Fleet Reports

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 3 years
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona Driver Class A or B CDL
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 5 years
• No more than 2 at fault accidents in the past 5 years
• No more than 2 violations of No Liability Insurance in the past 5 years
• No Reckless Driving or driving with a suspended license within the past 7 years and no more than 2 in a lifetime
• No DUI or DWI convictions
• Possess valid authorization to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass criminal background check and investigation & Motor Vehicle Record check
